SEND Connect Events: Building Community and Support for Parent Carers
Our SEND Connect events are designed as a supportive space for parent carers across Oxfordshire to connect, share experiences, and find valuable resources. Hosted regularly by the Oxfordshire Parent Carer Forum (OxPCF), these gatherings offer families the chance to engage with a welcoming SEND community, discuss common challenges, and stay informed about local initiatives and resources.
What to Expect at SEND Connect Events:
-
Community Connection: Meet other parent carers, share stories, and build lasting connections in a relaxed, supportive environment.

-
Expert Insights: Learn about the latest support services, SEND strategies, and initiatives from local organisations and experts.

-
Guest Appearances: Often, local representatives—such as members of the Local Area Partnership and key figures in SEND —join us to offer updates and hear from families directly.

-
Interactive Q&A and Feedback: Each event provides an opportunity for parent carers to share feedback, ask questions, and help shape local support services to better meet real needs.
These events are informal, free to attend, and no registration is required—just pop along and say hello!
Join us to make your voice heard, connect with others, and stay informed about what’s happening in the SEND community.
